Women Be Silent or Keep Silence

Before I open up this subject, I can feel in my sanctified bones that thousands of men will be MAD because I am dispelling this lie and sharing biblical truth. Rather you choose to study for yourself or not is not my premise, but rather to share biblical truth to provoke you to want to study. So let spill this tea and see if you share a cup with your friends.

First and foremost, the word silent is not in the New Testament. That is the main reason why the scriptures doesn’t say for women (wives) to be silent. The word silent is only in the Old Testament, it is in 7 verses and only mentioned 8 times.

The New Testament meaning of silent nothing because it cannot be found in the New Testament.

The scripture that people are addressing is I Corinthians 14:34 and it says, “Let your women keep SILENCE in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.”

Come on, relax and sit down and lets serve the tea!

Let YOUR (not all) women (wives) keep silence (silence means to hold your peace, keep close, keep secrets) in the churches: for it is not permitted (give license, suffer, give leave) unto them to speak (to tell, preach, talk) but they are commanded to be under obedience (subjection, submit).

To misinterpret this scripture is a disservice to GOD. If it meant woman had to be silent, that would mean women couldn’t pray, sing, worship nor say hi, praise the Lord. Paul is referring to the confusion that was going on in the Corinthian churches. He is informing wives to learn to keep the secrets of the churches, learn to keep quiet about the issues involving confusion. Don’t be gossiping and sharing the confusion.

Women in church, please learn to be silence and not let confusion circulate in the church creating so much confusion that no one can want to participate in worship, no one want to hear the word, no one can hear the Holy Spirit speaking. Silence the confusion and learn to hold secrets.
