Cherubim and seraphim are heavenly BEASTS with wings. They fly up, they commune with GOD and follow the assignments that GOD gives them. They are not angels, they are beasts that GOD and heaven’s angelic being can ride on.
In 2 Samuel 22 David writes a song about how GOD delivered him from the hands of all his enemies. In the song, David depicts GOD riding on a cherub and did fly. He was seen upon the wings of the wind. How powerful is this song of David.
Then in 2 Kings we see King Solomon making cherubims out of olive trees and overlaying them with gold. Now remember Moses was first commanded by GOD to make the art and have two cherubims over the mercy seat.
Ezekiel points to the fact that the cherubim’s wings were heard even to the outer court and as the voice of GOD. They also have wheels, and the form of a man’s hand was seen under their wings. The cherub had 4 faces, one was of a cherub, a man, a lion ad a eagle.
The seraphim is described as having 6 wings and 2 of them covered their face, two covered their feet and they used 2 wings to fly. They have hands and was found carry a live (HOT) coal in his hand.
Angels will be another topic because we as spiritual being as believed the lies of earthly being thinking that angels have wings.
