Are Demons Living In You

It’s late in the evening and I’m resting in bed studying my King James Holy Bible when I come across the the scripture that talks about whatsoever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever we loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. I immediately started thinking about all the times in church that I was binding demons and loosing the Holy Spirit. I remember some church services where people were slain in the spirit (which I never believed in) but they did. I often wondered if people did that because others did and why didn’t people fall out back in days? Well, that is a subject for another post.

Any who,  I started thinking about demons and looked up the word in my Strong’s Concordance and guess what. Demon(s) is not in the scriptures. I could not find demons anywhere so I decided to look up the etymology and the word demon originally meant deity, genius. It most likely came from the Greek verb to divide, distribute. This is another one of those words that the world was able to infiltrate into the church and the “church” ran with it. It seems like the church eagerly accepts worldliness.

However, you nor anyone else has demons living in you. If you look up the word in the Holy Bible, it is nowhere to be found. Then I looked up what Jesus did when it came to casting out devils. I noticed that Jesus cast out unclean spirits and devils. So if Jesus casted out unclean spirits and devils, why doesn’t the church follow Jesus if we are followers of Him. Maybe we are followers of Him but we aren’t followers of His Word.

I am learning so much as a student of the Word and I have decided not to cast out any more demons because there are no demons to cast out. Since Yeshua Hamashiach cast out unclean spirits and devils, I will too. What about you, will you follow Jesus or will you follow or continue to follow the world.

Now that you know demons aren’t biblical, what do you think people were doing? Entertaining, deliverance, convicting, acting out their faith, etc. Anyway, it’s safe to say you don’t have any demons in you but it doesn’t mean you don’t have some of these unclean spirits or devils dwelling in your body. Time to clean the house!!!
