STOP Giving Your Prayer Requests Away

There are so many things I am learning as I study the Word of GOD for myself. I have made so many mistakes that I have too and had too ask GOD to forgive me. I am so sorry to GOD and the multitude of people that I have ignorantly shared untruth with. My heart sorrows because I was once caught up in repeating what a Pastor teaches or preaches.

Today I thank Almighty GOD that HE alone has delivered me from quoting man to knowing the Word of GOD for myself. When I looked up prayer request in the scriptures to verify if we should be sending them to people, I could not find it in the scriptures where we give our prayers to people.

In Ephesians the scriptures tells us to pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit FOR all saints. Then in Philippians 1 it says “Always in every prayer of mine FOR you all making request with joy.” These are requests given to GOD for people not given to people to give to GOD for you.

You have the relationship, the authority, the power to pray to GOD for yourself and for others. When you give your prayer request to man your faith is misplaced in a person instead of being in GOD and in Yeshua Hamashiach power.

Also in Philippians the Word clearly directs us to make our requests known to GOD. The scripture says, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let YOUR REQUESTS be made known unto God.” This will give you the peace of GOD.

STOP giving your requests to people and let us begin to follow GOD and the Word of GOD so that our lives can grow spiritually and not remain so carnally minded. The Spirit gives life and life more abundant.
