Time For Revenge

People that understand the meaning of revenge automatically move from revenge to forgiveness and forgiveness is an absolutely beautiful gift to give yourself and others, Most people will also tell you that you should never take revenge and that you’ll reap what you sow. Well this is also true expect there is a perfect time, situation and reason to revenge. The Word of God speaks to us clearly and decisively that we must have a readiness to take revenge, to prepare for revenge.

Now already I have lost a few people that is reading this because an immediate and definitive argument has arisen and you are ready to put me in my place. Well before jumping to a conclusion on this matter, let us take time and reason together.

In 2 Corinthians the 10th chapter the scriptures clearly shares with us what the weapons of our warfare are. I am fully aware of casting down imaginations and most of you are aware of this as well. Then we pull down strong holds and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. But then their is one scripture that I haven’t heard while in church and that is verse 6. This verse informs us that revenge is a weapon of our warfare. It shares with us to have a readiness, to prepare to revenge all disobedience. The way that you take revenge on your disobedience is when your obedience is complete.

Revenge is to retaliate, punish, vindicate, avenge our own disobedience to GOD and the Word by punishing our disobedience by becoming obedient. Isn’t this a perfect example on how to vindicate ourselves, to become clear of blame. When standing in front of the judgment seat of the Messiah and He says to you, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” maybe because you made an informed decision to revenge your disobedience by becoming obedience.

Obedience is the path to good success, prosperous health, exceedingly and abundantly as well as the path that leads to holiness. Obedience is simple, it means to discern, listen attentively and to hear intelligently. Well, I guess to obey GOD isn’t for everyone. But for those that can discern, listen and hear, obedience is something you’re already doing, let’s just do it for GOD.
