the truth as taught in the Christian religion, respecting God and the execution of his purposes through Christ, and respecting the duties of man, opposing alike to the superstitions of the Gentiles and the inventions of the Jews, and the corrupt opinions and precepts of false teachers even among Christians.
that candour of mind which is free from affection, pretence, simulation, falsehood, deceit.
When the bible speaks of worshiping God in truth, what is the bible saying. Worshiping and honoring God’s truth, God’s word is Him and we must worship in truth.
John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
1 Corinthians 14:25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.
It’s real, even if you don’t want to believe, while dying, death will speak or life will.
I was freely and prayerfully confined to listen to a conversation with death because I made a promised. I had no idea that my promise would bring me to the realization of the horrors of death and the beauty of life.
I sat watching for days, trying to understand what was happening right in front of me. I have never witnessed such agony, such pain. For days I listened to the screams, the yells, the begging, the pleading as death was speaking.
I have seen the glorious beauty of life coming to claim a spirit. They laid in peace, they spoke of songs from heaven. The beauty of smiles radiated from them. They were able to talked to me on earth and fade out to communicated with life. There is nothing as beautiful as Life coming to claim a loved one’s spirit.
But recently, I saw the horror of death coming to claim a spirit. There was no resting, no calmness. I witnessed fighting, screams of please, please, please. They were able to talk to me on earth and when they would fade out they would begin communicating with death. The facial fears, the looks of horror on their face is indescribable. There was no beauty, no peace, no smiles as Death came to claim their spirit
I beseech you today, please, please, please, pray about making Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.
While dying, either Death will speak or Life will speak.
1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
This is truly a beautiful scripture that the psalmist David wrote, but this does not apply to saints today.
This Old Testament scriptures certainly depicted the beauty of saints dying then. We know that God kept them safe because they were precious to Him.
Then the precious Saviour, Jesus Christ went and led those precious saints out of deaths captivity and ascended high above the heavens. Took the sting from death.
Today we SHOULD NOT be saying, death of His saints. Death is judgment for sinners now and Life was purchased for saints.
No one should pronounce death over a saint except the death of Christ.
Saints have EVERLASTING LIFE (Jesus comes and claims their spirits)
Sinners have DEATH (satan comes and claims their spirits)
ALL SOULS BELONGS TO GOD
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
